Arthur Breycha-Vauthier

Arthur Breycha-Vauthier (born July 1, 1903 in Vienna , † February 15, 1986 in Feldkirchen in Carinthia ) was an Austrian diplomat .

Life

Arthur Breycha-Vauthier was born the son of a ministerial official and studied law and political science from 1921 to 1926 . From 1928 he was initially an employee of the library of the League of Nations and from 1945 director of the library of the United Nations in Geneva. There he had contact with Egon Ranshofen-Wertheimer . From 1964 to 1968 Breycha-Vauthier was the Austrian ambassador in Beirut and from 1968 to 1975 and from 1976 to 1977 director of the Diplomatic Academy in Vienna .
