Arthur Holmes Medal
The Arthur Holmes Medal is an award in geosciences from the European Geosciences Union (EGU). It is named after the British geologist Arthur Holmes . Until 2003 it was awarded by the European Union of Geosciences (EUG), which then became part of the EGU.
It is awarded for excellence in solid earth science.
