Arthur Kreienbrinck

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Arthur Kreienbrinck (born September 4, 1955 ) is a former German soccer player who played an international game in the German amateur soccer team in the 1978/79 season . From 1977 to 1981, the defensive player in the North Football League for HSV Barmbek-Uhlenhorst played 60 games and scored six goals.

career

Arthur Kreienbrinck came for the 1977/78 season from the Hamburg district of Hamburg-Farmsen-Berne from the local TuS Berne to the blue-yellow of Barmbek-Uhlenhorst, which played their association games in the amateur league north. In his first league year, 1977/78, "BU" took fifth place under coach Bernd Brehme and top performers Wolfgang Kampf , Sigmund Malek , Ulrich Schulz and Manfred Waack. The newcomer from Berne had played 30 league games and scored four goals.

In the second league year with “BU”, 1978/79 , the team from Wilhelm-Ruppert-Sportplatz on Steilshooper Strasse fell back to 11th place in the table. Although the team's son Andreas Brehme and Joachim Philipkowski were outstanding talents, the way to the top of the table could not be made in terms of performance. Kreienbrinck came on 20 appearances with two goals.

Since a new team was put together for the amateur national team of the DFB with the newly responsible DFB coach Erich Ribbeck, two players from "BU" also joined the group of DFB amateurs with Siegmund Malek and Arthur Kreienbrinck. The DFB had said goodbye to the "Olympic amateur", they now mainly used the player range of the regional amateur leagues. Malek and Kreienbrinck were called up for the international match on November 8, 1978 in The Hague against the amateurs of the Netherlands. Kreienbrinck formed the defenders pair with Wolfgang Wolf from 1. FC Kaiserslautern in the 2-0 defeat. In addition to defender Wolf, talented goalkeepers Eike Immel , Wolfgang Trapp , Thomas Allofs , Rainer Rühle and Ralf Dusend were young players from the Bundesliga for the last time. At the next international match, March 20, 1979 in Schwenningen against Italy, these players were no longer part of the DFB amateur squad.

This ended the chapter of the amateur national team for Kreienbrinck. At "BU" he was active in the Oberliga Nord until the 1980/81 season, but was only used sporadically. In the two rounds 1979/80 and 1980/81 he ran on only a total of nine league games. His last competitive game in the Oberliga Nord he played on May 10, 1981 in the 1: 5 home defeat against Eintracht Nordhorn. Under player-coach Ulrich Schulz , “BU”, massively weakened by the departure of Andreas Brehme, Siegmund Malek and Joachim Philipkowski, was relegated from the league in the summer of 1981.
