Arthur Moser
Arthur Moser (born December 22, 1880 in Neuhausen am Rheinfall , † January 14, 1957 , reformed , resident in Neuhausen ) was a Swiss politician (FDP) and architect .
biography
Arthur Moser was born on December 22nd, 1880 as the son of the iron turner Jean Moser and the Maria née Walter in Neuhausen am Rheinfall. After completing a degree in architecture in Germany , Arthur Moser rose to become the largest landowner in Neuhausen as the owner of the Moser architecture office and played a key role in the structural design of the site. Moser achieved worldwide fame through the construction of shooting ranges with target pulls based on the so-called Moser system.
In addition, he developed a great deal of involvement in various shooting clubs , including as the founder of Standschützen Randen. From 1915 to 1921 he presided over the cantonal shooting club. In the Swiss Army , Moser was promoted to colonel in 1928 .
Arthur Moser, who was married to Maria, the daughter of the doctor Carl Billeter, died on January 14, 1957, a few days after he was 76 years old in Neuhausen.
Political career
Arthur Moser was one of the co-founders of the local FDP in 1906. At the community level, Moser acted as the residents' council of Neuhausen between 1913 and 1924 , and in 1918 as vice-president. At the cantonal level, Moser was a member of the Schaffhausen Cantonal Council in 1912 and 1916 and 1920 and 1924 . He was also a member of the National Council from 1922 to 1931 .
