Arthur Wooster
Arthur Wooster (born May 18, 1929 in London , United Kingdom ) is a British cameraman and second unit director.
Life
Wooster came to film in 1946 and started working as a camera assistant at the Crown Film Unit that year . Since 1950 Wooster has worked in various areas of camera work: as head cameraman as in the second unit area or in special photography, where he u. a. Made underwater sequences. Wooster photographed short and feature films, feature films and documentaries (e.g. the 1966 football World Cup film in England). In the official Olympic film Munich 1972 - 8 famous directors watch the XX. Olympics he was one of ten cameramen. From 1980 to 2002 Wooster was also employed continuously in all James Bond films, where he was employed either as a second unit director or as a cameraman for the creation of additional recordings. After Pierce Brosnan's last Bond mission , Die Another Day , Wooster, who was awarded the Michael Balcon Award by BAFTA in 1983, retired into private life at the age of 73.
