Arttu Mattila (born March 3, 2001 in Äänekoski ) is a Finnish athlete who specializes in high jump .

Athletic career

Arttu Mattila gained his first international experience in 2017 when he won the gold medal at the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) in Győr with a skipped 2.08 m. In the following year he finished sixth at the U18 European Championships there with 2.04 m and also qualified for the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires , where he also reached sixth place. In 2019 he won the bronze medal at the U20 European Championships in Borås with a height of 2.12 m.

In 2019 Mattila became Finnish champion in the high jump outdoors and 2017 in the hall.
