The Arve River is a river in the southeast of the Australian state of Tasmania .

geography

River course

It rises on the eastern slopes of the Devils Backbone in the Hartz Mountains . From there it first flows east-northeast and falls over the Arve Falls . Then it turns its course to the north and flows into the Arve Plains , east of the Southwest National Park , in the Huon River .
