Arzu Karabulut (born January 30, 1991 in Cologne ) is a Turkish soccer player who is under contract with the Turkish first division club Beşiktaş JK and plays for the Turkish national team.
Career
societies
Karabulut has worked in the youth department of SC Fortuna Cologne since 2002 and was a member of the club's regional league team from 2007 to 2010. In the summer of 2010 she moved to league competitor Bayer 04 Leverkusen II , for whom she played 72 times as a regular player in the following four seasons and scored 45 goals. On November 27, 2011, she played a Bundesliga game for Leverkusen's first team against FF USV Jena .
In the summer of 2014 Karabulut switched to the Turkish champion Konak Belediyespor in the Bayanlar Futbol Ligi , with whom she won the Turkish championship again in spring 2015.
National team
After she was appointed to the Middle Rhine team by coach Bettina Wiegmann , the Turkish Football Association also became aware of Karabulut. In order to be able to accrue for the country of birth of her parents in the future, she gave up her German citizenship. Between August 2006 and October 2007 she played eleven games for the Turkish U-17 juniors, including qualifying for the U-17 European Championship in 2008 , and scored three goals. In early 2006, at the age of 14, she made her debut for the U-19 national team, for which she was on the pitch 39 times and scored seven goals until 2010. On November 23, 2011, she finally made her debut for the Turkish national team in the European Championship qualifier against Romania . She scored her first goal for the national team on April 4, 2014 during the World Cup qualifier against Wales with the goal of 5-1.
