Asa Kasher

Asa Kascher ( Hebrew אסא כשר; * June 6, 1940 in Jerusalem ) is an Israeli philosopher and linguist at Tel Aviv University, where he is a professor.

In 1997 he received the Yitzhak Sadeh Prize . In 2000 he was awarded the Israel Prize for Philosophy.

According to Egmont R. Koch , Kasher is considered the “house philosopher” of the Israeli army.
