Asami Abe

Asami Abe ( Jap. 安倍麻美 , Abe Asami * 27. February 1985 in Muroran , Hokkaido ) is a Japanese singer and actress, and younger sister of J-pop - idol Natsumi Abe . She began her career with advertising appearances for Nintendo and also appeared in several doramas on television.

biography

In 2003, following in her sister's footsteps, Asmai caught the attention of Japan's J-pop music scene; their debut single, entitled Riyū , was released in June of that year. By 2008 she published six singles, the novel Baka Mitai ( バ カ み た い。 ), two studio albums, three photo books and participated in three films and two doramas .

In 2006 she and her older sister starred in a Japanese drama about the duo The Peanuts and their success in the 1960s.

On May 15, 2007 it was announced that Asami Abe would replace the singer Nozomi Tsuji in the Gyaruru trio . The first single from it was Boom Boom Meccha Maccho! on June 20, 2007.
