Ashley Lilley

Ashley-Anne Lilley (born January 29, 1986 in Rothesay , Scotland ) is a Scottish actress .

Life

Lilley was born in Rothesay on the Isle of Bute in Scotland. At the age of twelve she won a seat at the National Youth Music Theater. At 15, she enrolled at the Italia Conti Academy of Theater Arts in London , where she graduated in 2004. In 2005 she played Lucille Frank in a production of Jason Robert Brown's Musical Parade at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe . She then appeared in the role of Hope Harcourt on the UK tour of Cole Porter's Anything Goes . She made her film debut in 2008 with the role of Ali in Mamma Mia! , in which she, like two years later in letters to Julia , stood in front of the camera with Amanda Seyfried .

As of June 2020, Lilley has not made any further film appearances since 2010.
