Asplanchna brightwelli ( synonym Asplanchna brightwellii ) is a species of the genus Asplanchna from the tribe of rotifers (Rotatoria).

female
The females are 500 to 1500 µm long, have no feet and have a blistered, distended body. Their ovaries are ribbon-shaped and their gastric glands are spherical. There is a tooth on the inside of the chewing forceps. You have two small eyes .
male
The males are tiny, only live briefly and consist almost entirely of their testicles .
