Astrid Vits

Astrid Vits (born January 28, 1973 in Wolfsburg ) is a German journalist and news anchor .

Life

Astrid Vits studied art history , education and German at the Georg-August University in Göttingen . In 1999 she moved to Hamburg and has been working as a radio and television speaker and freelance writer since 2001. She has been the spokeswoman for the news program Tagesschau on Erste since 2004 . There she presents night and early editions alongside Michail Paweletz and Tarek Youzbachi . Vits also worked as a writer for the radio visit at NDR Info. Since 2012 she has been employed as the first speaker at NDR Rundfunk.
