Tarek Youzbachi

Tarek Youzbachi (born February 16, 1971 in Hanover ) is a German journalist and television presenter .

Life

Tarek Youzbachi, whose father comes from Syria , graduated from high school in 1990 and then did his community service . From 1992 to 1996 he studied at the Hamburg University of Music and Theater .

Since 1998 he has been working as a newscaster for NDR radio in Hamburg. He went to Cologne in 2000 and worked there as an editor for a production company.

Since 2003 he has been working again at NDR as a radio news anchor. Since 2004, Tarek Youzbachi has also been the spokesperson for the news program Tagesschau on ARD . On the radio Youzbachi reads the (half-hourly) news in the news program of NDR Info and in the culture wave NDR Kultur. In addition, he speaks for various radio productions (including contributions to the series Armed Forces and Strategies) and works as a film writer for television series such as Der Tatortreiniger , for which he and his colleagues were awarded the German Audio Film Prize 2016 .
