Atakule television tower
The Atakule Tower is a 125 meter high tower with a revolving restaurant in the Turkish capital Ankara . The Atakule Tower was completed in 1989 as a lookout tower and the city's new landmark. In addition to the observation deck and the restaurant, there is also an arcade, a Burger King , a Kentucky Fried Chicken and a Pizza Hut restaurant and a shopping center around the Atakule Tower. It is located about 4 km south of Kızılay Square, the city center of Ankara.
Since June 12, 2011, the Atakule tower has been equipped with an LED lighting system. Over 10,000 pixels, individually controllable via DMX, provide different color scenarios and shows every hour.
