Atanas Stoyanov

Atanas Stojanow (also written Atanas Stoyanov , Bulgarian Атанас Стоянов ; born July 19, 1969 in Kameno , Bulgaria ) is a Bulgarian painter and sculptor . He represents contemporary Bulgarian painting, sculpture and is a representative of decorative art / interior art in Bulgaria. Stojanow lives and works in the Black Sea port city of Burgas .

Atanas Stojanow was born on July 19, 1969 in Kameno, near Burgas. After attending primary school, he moved to Kunino (near Wraza ) where he visited the local colleague for stone processing in the subject of sculpture and shot down in 1988. After two years of military service, he moved to Veliko Tarnovo , where he was able to finish his studies in sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Veliko Tarnovo in 1995 .

Stojanow is now an active member of the Burgas Art Association and has been a teacher of sculpture and design in the city's art high school since the late 1990s.

Stoyanov has several national holdings - in Sofia, Plovdiv, Burgas, Varna and international, e.g. B. in Brussels and Manisa , Turkey exhibitions. In 2008 and 2009 he took part in the Sand Sculpture Festival in Burgas.

In 2010 Stojanow was part of the international project "InHand". In the same year he developed the gift certificate for the award "Painter of the Year" of the municipality of Burgas.

In the last few years Stojanow realized several projects together with the sculptor Ljubomir Kozew and the painter Dobrin Watew.
