The Atlantic City Line is a passenger rail connection between Philadelphia in the US state of Pennsylvania and Atlantic City on the Atlantic coast of New Jersey . It is operated by the New Jersey Transit and has existed in its current form since 1989.

The trains run in Philadelphia from 30th Street Station first on the north-east corridor to the north. At Frankford Junction in the north of the city they turn east, cross the Delaware on the Delair Bridge and thus reach the territory of New Jersey. There it goes with a stop in Cherry Hill at some distance north around Camden . Shortly before Haddonfield the tracks of the PATCO Speedline are reached. This route initially continues without stopping to its terminus in Lindenwold , where there is a possibility to change trains. From there, the trains continue southeast and, after stopping at Atco , Hammonton , Egg Harbor City and Absecon, finally reach Atlantic City.

14 pairs of trains run daily on the Atlantic City Line. The trains consist of Comet IV wagons and are pulled by EMD GP40-2 diesel locomotives. Travel time from 30th Street Station to Atlantic City is approximately an hour and a half.

The route is not electrified beyond the north-east corridor.
