The Atlin River forms the outflow from Atlin Lake to Tagish Lake in the north of the Canadian province of British Columbia .

The Atlin River leaves Atlin Lake on the west bank opposite the village of Atlin . It flows 5 km in a northwest direction and flows into the eastern end of Graham Inlet , an eastern side bay of Tagish Lake. The Atlin River has a catchment area of ​​approximately 6,860 km². The mean discharge is 98.5 m³ / s. The months with the highest outflows are August and September.

The river is located in the far north of the Atlin / Téix'gi Aan Tlein Provincial Park . The Atlin River was originally called the Atlinto River .
