Atsushi Inaba ( Japanese稲 葉 敦 志Inaba Atsushi , born August 28, 1971 in Kanazawa , Ishikawa Prefecture ) is a Japanese game developer , known for several popular video games. Today he works for the independent development studio Platinum Games (formerly Seeds ), which he founded with Shinji Mikami and Hideki Kamiya .

Atsushi Inaba started his career at Capcom . In 2003 he opened Studio Clover under his leadership, which is wholly owned by Capcom. When Capcom decided in October 2006 to close the Clover studio in April 2007 due to unsatisfactory sales figures, he and colleagues planned to found their own independent studio, which was presented on February 15, 2007 under the name Seeds , but now in Platinum Games was renamed. Since then, Atsushi Inaba has been striving to work on original developments together with 85 employees (as of 2008).
