Attila Záhonyi (born December 1, 1959 in Budapest ) is a former Hungarian sports shooter .

Attila Záhonyi, who started for Honvéd Budapest , was European champion in 1987 in Lahti with the small bore rifle in the three-position fight. He took part in the Olympic Games twice: in 1988 he took the air rifle competition in Seoul after successfully reaching the finals in sixth place, while with the small-bore rifle he did not get past eleventh place in the three-position fight. In the prone position he qualified with the small bore rifle for the final, which he finished with a total of 701.9 points behind Miroslav Varga and Cha Young-chul on the bronze rank . At the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona he finished the competition with the air rifle in 21st place, with the small bore rifle he took 20th place in the three-position fight and 26th place in the prone position.
