Honest Mettmann

The Honschaft Mettmann was in the 19th century one of the lowest administrative units in the rural outskirts of Bergisch mayoralty Mettmann in the district Elberfeld the administrative district of Dusseldorf within the Prussian Rhine Province . The honor consisted of the rural outskirts of the city (from 1856) Mettmann and was also called the Mettmann foreign citizenship .

According to the statistics and topography of the Düsseldorf administrative district from 1832, the following towns and places of residence belonged to the Honschaft : Auf der Höhe , Auf der Leye , Große Furth , Großkaldenberg , Hermeshaus , Hugenhaus , Karpendelle , Kleine Weihe , Klutenscheuer , Korreshaus , Korreshof , Großkrummbach , Linderheide , Obenoetzbach , Oberste Drenk , Steinshaus , Unteroetzbach and Zum Siepen .

The community encyclopedia for the province of Rhineland describes the honor as external citizenship and lists the towns and places of residence in 1888: Groß Kaldenberg, Groß Krumbach, Hermeshaus, Kämpchen, Kamp, Kleine Stöcken, Klein Kaldenberg, Korres, Korreshaus, Kurschhaus, Löckenhäuschen, Löckenhof, Obenötzbach, Above zur Linden, Pringstgarten, Siepen, Below am Born, Unterötzbach and Below zur Linden. At that time, 181 people lived in 23 houses in these places.
