Aubrey Begg

Aubrey Wilbert Begg (born April 9, 1929 in Balclutha , Otago , † November 7, 1988 ) was a New Zealand politician.

Career

Begg attended Southland Boys' High School and was a farmer near Invercargill .

He ran unsuccessfully in the 1966 and 1969 parliamentary elections . He represented the constituency of Invercargill in the House of Representatives from 1972 to 1975 for the Labor Party . He then ran unsuccessfully in the parliamentary elections in 1975 , 1978 (as Labor in the constituency of Invercargill) and 1981 (as a non-party in the Wallace constituency ).
