Audrey Deroin (born September 6, 1989 in Châtenay-Malabry , France ) is a French handball player .

Career

Deroin started playing handball in her hometown at ASVCM Châtenay-Malabry Handball. Then who played winger between 2004 and 2009 in Issy-les-Moulineaux HB and in the 2009/10 season at US Mios Biganos . From the summer of 2010, Deroin was under contract with Toulon Saint-Cyr Var handball , with which she won the French Cup in 2011 and 2012. In the summer of 2014 she moved to Union Mios Biganos-Bègles . After Union Mios Biganos-Bègles withdrew in November 2015, she was without a contract. On December 9, 2015 she signed the German Bundesliga team Thuringian HC . In April 2016, their contract was terminated by mutual agreement. The Thuringian HC won the German championship in the 2015/16 season. From July 2016 she was under contract with the French club Cercle Dijon Bourgogne . Two years later she joined the second division side Mérignac Handball.

Deroin initially played for the French youth and junior national team. In 2005 she won the bronze medal at the European Youth Championships. On October 14, 2008, the left-hander made her debut in the French national team . At the 2009 World Championships and World Cup 2011 , she won the silver medal. She also took part in the Olympic Games in London and the 2013 World Cup in Serbia .
