Audun Gudmund Endestad (born January 19, 1953 in Bryggja , Vågsøy , Norway ) is a former American cross-country skier .

Endestad was born in Norway but immigrated to Alaska in the United States . There he was active as a cross-country skier. He won 13 national championship titles and six times the Great American Ski Chase , a ski marathon . He also qualified for the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo . There he started the race over 50 kilometers and finished it in 18th place. Endestad continued to practice various sports and took part in senior competitions in cross-country skiing, hiking, racing, canoeing, cycling and climbing.

Endestad was married to the cross-country skier Judy Rabinowitz .
