Upside down house
An upside down house is a building that stands on its pointed roof . It is mostly used for tourist purposes.
Construction
The use of one to two-storey replicas of residential buildings with the usual rooms such as a corridor with stairs, kitchen with dining area, living room, bathroom, bedroom and children's room as well as garage is common. All rooms and the garage are also completely furnished “upside down”. This means that all objects must be fixed. Tables, chairs, toilets, beds etc. are placed on the "floor" of the room, which in reality is the ceiling.
In addition to the house type standing on the gable, there is the construction method of placing the house on one side of the gable roof . This is a structurally simpler construction.
In the United States also are Haunted Houses built with decaying construction. The White House also serves as a template.
Effects
An upside down house is not habitable.
If the upside down house is also inclined horizontally and / or vertically, the visitor's sense of balance is also irritated.
The photos possible in an upside down house are mostly fun because - if the photos are rotated 180 ° - the illusion arises that the house corresponds to normality and the visitor is standing upside down.
