history
The Füllenweide was created between 1954 and 1956 as part of the Federal German program to improve living conditions in rural areas by outsourcing agricultural operations from the town center. After clearing over 200 hectares of forest, eleven emigrant farms were created west of Göllheim .
The settlement was named after the local field name Fohlenweide while adapting to the historically correct name; the field name Füllenweide was originally entered in the cadastre as a foal pasture by Bavarian cadastral officials who did not speak the Palatinate language sufficiently.
