August Carl Haun (born August 10, 1815 in Kremsier or Berlin , † 1894 in Berlin) was a German painter, etcher and lithographer.

Live and act

August Haun studied at the Royal Prussian Academy of Arts in Berlin with Karl Blechen and August Wilhelm Schirmer .

Around 1848 he went on study trips through Germany, also visited Austria and Northern Italy .

Since 1847 he has illustrated books and published lithographic albums with cityscapes and landscapes.
