August Culemann

August Culemann (* around 1809; † 1891 ) was a German administrative lawyer.

Life

August Culemann studied at the Georg August University in Göttingen . In 1829 he became a member of the Corps Brunsviga Göttingen . After graduating, he entered the civil service of the Duchy of Braunschweig . He was district director of the Gandersheim district , where he took part in the purchase negotiations for the property for the Ernst-August-tunnel in 1853 . Then he was district director of the Braunschweig district . At the beginning of 1859 he was also appointed a full member of the Ministerial Commission for the section of the internal state administration and the police. After his retirement he lived in Braunschweig until his death in 1891 .
