August Friedrich Bök (born December 6, 1739 in Stuttgart , † August 21, 1815 in Tübingen ) was professor of philosophy and prelate in Tübingen.

Life

August Friedrich Bök became a respondent in Tübingen in 1758. He followed a call as professor of applied philosophy, eloquence and poetry at the University of Tübingen . He was also there from 1807 / 10-1815 prelate of the general superintendent of Tübingen . On October 2, 1770, he married Luise Friederike Ramsler (born August 4, 1749 in Stuttgart; † 1825), a daughter of the prelate and professor of the Stuttgart grammar school Johann Friedrich Ramsler (1700–1757) and his wife Marie Sybille nee. Benkiser, used Dreher, and had a daughter with her, Luise Friederike (1749–1825). Their daughter Johanne Friederike Bök (1774–1853) married her cousin Johann Heinrich Ferdinand Autenrieth (1772–1835). From 1807 to 1810 he was Protestant abbot of the Bebenhausen monastery school .
