August Georg Uhle
August Georg Uhle (born January 16, 1737 in Braunschweig , † May 12, 1804 in Hanover ) was a German Lutheran theologian and general superintendent of the general dioceses of Hoya-Diepholz and Calenberg .
Life
Uhle was a son of Captain Christoph Uhle. After studying theology, he became an assistant pastor in Braunschweig, in 1770 pastor at the Aegidienkirche in Hanover, in 1793 first pastor at the Neustädter Hof- und Stadtkirche St. Johannis . At the same time he was general superintendent for the General Diocese of Hoya-Diepholz from 1794 to 1798 and for Calenberg from 1798.
