August Leu (painter, 1852)
August Leu , also August Leu the Younger (born April 18, 1852 in Düsseldorf ; † May 10, 1876 ibid), was a German animal and landscape painter from the Düsseldorf School .
Life
Leu, son of the Düsseldorf landscape painter August Leu the Elder and brother of the landscape painters Oscar and Otto Leu , was initially a student of his father. He then became a student of Rudolf Koller in Zurich .
