Oscar Leu
Oscar Leu (born March 23, 1864 in Düsseldorf , † February 1942 in Munich ) was a German naturalistic painter .
Like his brothers August and Otto , Leu was initially a student of his father August Leu . He studied at the art academies in Berlin and in Munich with Karl Raupp . Later he worked as a freelance artist, mainly as a landscape painter with a preference for mountains, in Munich and Dessau. Often works by the artist are available in auction shops.
