Karl August Wünsche (born August 22, 1838 in Hainewalde near Zittau , † November 15, 1912 in Dresden ) was a Protestant theologian and Hebrew.

Live and act

Wish studied theology and oriental studies in Leipzig from 1860 to 1866 . From 1866 he was a teacher at the secondary school in Leipzig , from 1869 to 1905 senior teacher at the municipal secondary school for girls in Dresden. He was known as an Agada translator and edited a multi-volume history of Jewish literature with Jakob Winter (1894–1896).
