August Wilhelm Friedrich von Degenfeld

August Wilhelm Friedrich von Degenfeld (born November 9, 1795 at the Eulenhof ; † January 29, 1845 in Ehrstädt ) was the landlord of the Eulenhof and co-lord of Ehrstädt, Waibstadt , Wagenbach and Unterbiegelhof .

Life

He was the only son of Wilhelm Ferdinand Friedrich von Degenfeld (1757-1819) from his third marriage to Johanna Carolina Benedikta von Gemmingen-Hornberg (1763-1851).

He belonged to the Eulenhof line of the family that was created during the division of the estate between grandfather Reinhard Philipp Friedrich von Degenfeld (1722–1784) and his brothers and had its headquarters on the Eulenhof.

He was a lieutenant in 1815 and a first lieutenant in 1819. In 1830 he was Rittmeister a. D.

He was buried in the castle chapel of Neuhaus Castle .

He married Henriette von Gemmingen-Hornberg (1797–1849), daughter of the Babstadt landlord Ludwig Friedrich von Gemmingen , on October 5, 1819 in the Ehrstadt church . The marriage had two sons and ten daughters. Some of the children died in childhood or adolescence.
