Carl August Carl Count of Bose

Carl August Carl Graf von Bose , also August Carl Graf Bose , (* November 24, 1787 in Dresden ; † February 11, 1862 ibid) was a royal Saxon real secret councilor and court marshal of the King of Saxony and owner of the manors Gamig and Neuschönfels .

Life

Carl August Graf von Bose came from the Vogtland line of the Saxon noble family von Bose , which deliberately refrained from using the nobility predicate when spelling its name until the 18th century . He was the grandson of Upper Chamberlain Friedrich Carl Graf von Bose (1726–1767) and Juliane Wilhelmine born. von Putbus from the house of Einsiedelsburg (1728–1798). Carl Graf von Bose was his father and Charlotte Wilhelmine Countess von der Schulenburg (1760-1813) his mother.

As a young man he joined the Electoral Saxon service and became a chamberlain and then chamberlain. Under King Anton of Saxony he was appointed a real secret councilor and court marshal. He lived at Altmarkt No. 10, later in the English Quarter at Lüttichaustraße 24.

August Graf von Bose was married to Katharina Natalie Elisabeth von Löwenstern from Livonia (1795–1879) since 1813 . Their marriage resulted in five children, in addition to four daughters, the only son Carl August Graf von Bose (1814–1887), who became a scientist and died in Baden-Baden in 1887 as the last male representative of the Vogtland ( Netzschkauer ) branch of his family .
