Auguste Bourotte
Auguste Bourotte (born September 25, 1853 in Brussels , † 1943 in Watermael-Boitsfort / Watermaal-Bosvoorde ) was a Belgian genre painter , lithographer and illustrator .
In addition to genre paintings, he also painted mythological scenes, figures and portraits.
In 1880 he took part in the Historical Exhibition of Belgian Art in Brussels. In 1917 he received the first prize of the Académie royale des Beaux-Arts de Bruxelles . Bourotte went on several study trips to Italy.
