Joseph Augustin "Auguste" Donny (born January 1, 1851 in Béziers ; † unknown) was a French sailor .

Auguste Donny, who sailed for the Paris Yacht Club de France , took part in the 1900 Olympic Games in Paris , where he competed in three competitions. In the open class he gave up the regatta prematurely, while in the boat class 2 to 3 tons he reached the finish twice in two races in Meulan-en-Yvelines . In the first race he missed the podium in fourth place, but finished the subsequent second race with his boat Mignon in third place behind the yacht Ollé controlled by William Exshaw and the boat Favorite led by Léon Susse .
