The place belonged to the Catholic parish of Aholfing and was not yet recorded in the 1838 register of the diocese of Regensburg, for the first time in 1860. The property was apparently abandoned around 1913, as the census data from 1925 and the 1916 register no longer contain any references to the place but the place is still listed in "Meyers Orts- und Verkehrs-Lexicon" from 1913.
