history

Niederachdorf belonged to the Wörth rulership in the Middle Ages and belonged to the so-called "middle area", the area of the Amtshof in Stadldorf. In 1972 the Upper Palatinate community was incorporated from the Regensburg district to Lower Bavaria into the Straubing-Bogen district. With the regional reform in Bavaria , the municipality of Niederachdorf lost its independence and was incorporated into the municipality of Kirchroth on May 1, 1978. In addition to the main town Niederachdorf, the former community also included the hamlet of Stadldorf and the wasteland of Kiefelmauth . Until at least 1900 Auhof was also part of the community.
