Weiher is part of the municipality of Kirchroth in the Straubing-Bogen district in Lower Bavaria .

The hamlet is located west of Oberzeitldorn , south of State Road 2125 and north of the Perlbach arrester .

To the north of the state road is the side church of John the Baptist , a listed architectural monument. Until its dissolution and incorporation in Kirchroth in 1978, Weiher was part of the Oberzeitldorn community. The last census in 1987 found 23 residents in six residential buildings.
