Thalstetten is a village in the municipality of Kirchroth in the Lower Bavarian district of Straubing-Bogen .

location

It lies between the west passing St 2148 and A 3 on the eastern outskirts. The neighboring villages are Aufroth , Kirchroth and Münster .

history

The area around Thalstetten was settled at an early stage, as some imperial-Germanic ceramics were found on properties near Thalstetten, including the wall piece of a bowl with a fluted break . Thalstetten is first mentioned in a document in 1220. At a court day Albert IV, Count von Bogen, had to return unjustly owned goods, including a farm in Tailstetten. In 1812 the place belonged to the district court of Mitterfels . According to the diocesan register of 1860, there were 11 houses with 76 inhabitants in the place. In 1946 Thalstetten was transferred from the municipality of Kößnach to Kirchroth.
