Aung Thwin
Aung Thwin (born March 31, 1936 in Rangoon ) is a Myanmar sculptor.
Aung Thwin studied cultural studies at the University of Rangoon from 1955 to 1960 . From 1962 to 1971 he worked as a lecturer in sculpture at the Burmese State School of Fine Arts. Study trips took him to the GDR in 1969 . In 1971 Aung Thwin switched to the state theater of the Burmese capital as a set and costume designer .
Aung Thwin's work consists mainly of small sculptures. In addition, however, he also created some life-size depictions of figures.
