Aurélien Duval (born June 29, 1988 ) is a French cyclist .

Aurélien Duval was French champion in junior cyclocross in Sedan in 2006 . On the road , he was runner-up in the road race and he won the team time trial at the stage race in Liège- La Gleize . In 2007 he was second in the U23 class at the national cross-country championship and in 2008 he was champion. At the U23 World Cup in Liévin Duval took second place and in Hoogerheide he came third. At the Cyclocross World Championships in Treviso , he won the silver medal in the U23 class. On the road, Duval won the one-day race Boucles de la Marne in 2008. At the end of the year he drove for the French UCI ProTeam La Française des Jeux as a stagiaire . In 2009 Duval was firmly integrated into the team.

In a doping test in October 2009, Duval tested positive for the appetite suppressant norfenfluramine . After the equally positive result of the B sample became known, he was released from the team in January 2010. He was also banned for two years.
