Petter Stymne (born May 9, 1983 in Skövde ) is a Swedish freestyle swimmer .

At the European Short Course Championships in Helsinki in 2006 , Stymne swam with Stefan Nystrand , Marcus Piehl and Jonas Tilly in a new world record time to win the European Championship in the 4 × 50 m freestyle.

A year later, at the European Short Course Championships in Debrecen in 2007 , the Swedish relay team was able to further improve this world record with the stymne.
