Auricher Wiesmoor II is a district of Wiesmoor in the Aurich district in East Frisia . The place was created from 1878 as a state feudal settlement of Prussia.

history

The place owes its name to the almost central subdivisions of the East Frisian Central High Moor , which was made in 1840 by the Hanover government . This is how the Friedeburg Wiesmoor was created in addition to the Aurich Wiesmoor. The border line between the two areas is now formed by the Nordgeorgsfehnkanal .
