The Aurkleven is a large basin in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land , the valley floor of which is partially occupied by a moraine . It is located between the Kubus and Klevekampen mountains in the Filchner Mountains of the Orvinfjella .
The basin was mapped using aerial photographs during the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960). Its Norwegian name means "rubble chamber" when translated into German .
