Aus-Rotten was an American crustcore and anarcho-punk band.
history
The band was formed in 1992 in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania and combined anarcho-punk from the early 1980s with a heavier sound. Most of the songs contained critical lyrics about the government, capitalism , sexism , the death penalty , religion , animal rights and other controversial issues. These radical and catchy, slogan-like lyrics made the band known, for example, it is called “People Are Not Expendable, Government Is” or “As Long As Flags Fly Above Us, No One's Really Free ”(Eng.“ As long as the flags are blowing over us, nobody is really free ”). The band also represented a clear anti-fascist opinion. In 2001 the band broke up and the bands Caustic Christ and Behind Enemy Lines were formed . Drummer Richie Carramadre, who appeared under the pseudonym "Filthy Rich Bastard" on the very successful single Fuck Nazi Sympathy , one of the best-selling releases in the genre with more than 22,000 copies, plays on All Systems Fail today .
