Behind Enemy Lines is an American band that was formed in the fall of 2000 in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania by members of the band Aus-Rotten , shortly before they split up. Behind Enemy Lines' music can best be described as anarcho-punk in the style of the early 1990s with a few metal touches. Thematically, the band's songs deal with criticism of the system and religion, globalization , the problem of hunger and the like. Behind Enemy Lines remains musically and in terms of content closer to its predecessor than Caustic Christ , the second band that emerged from the separation from Aus-Rotten.
