International Office of the German Lecturers

The International Office of the German Lecturers was an institution during the National Socialist era .

The office was based in Berlin . During the Second World War , it looked after many hundreds of university professors and scientists from 45 allied or neutral countries who worked at German universities . 43 main offices and bases in all university cities from Hamburg , Kiel , Danzig and Königsberg to Innsbruck , Graz and Vienna , from Strasbourg to Prague and Poznan helped with the support .
