The Austkapp ( Norwegian for Eastern Cape ) is a round cape between the Prince Harald Coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It lies at the northern end of the Riiser-Larsen Peninsula .
Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute named it that way in 2016 because the Riiser Larsen Peninsula is the easternmost peninsula of Queen Maud Land.
